2] INTRODUCTION OF EXAM:

Sales Tax Inspector Exam is not that popular and its unknown exam in the MPSC exams, Lots of Aspirants who are who prepare for MPSC Rajyaseva exam only and suddenly they know that there is exam called MPSC STI exam. But currently lots of aspirants know that there is MPSC STI because of combination of three Exams into one exam. You can become Sales Tax inspector through this exam or with STI Departmental Exam which is not for all candidates, here we will discuss about MPSC STI Competitive examination which is open for all graduates. If you are tax Assistant then you are eligible to STI Departmental Exam otherwise you can appear for this exam only with graduation.

3] Medium of Exam:

The MPSC STI Exam Paper medium will be English and Marathi. There will be combine prelim for ASO-STI-PSI and in prelim the exam paper will be in English and Marathi and in mains examination there is English Language topic in paper 1 of mains exam in that paper the Marathi Language will be in Marathi Medium and the English Language will be in English Medium and The paper 2 of mains exam will be in English and Marathi.

Introduction: to fill the vacancies of Sales tax department of the government of Maharashtra, MPSC Conducts the MPSC STI Exam to fill the vacant posts of Sales Tax Inspector.

Class: Class B (Non gazetted Post)

Salary: 9,300-34,800 +Grade Pay 4300+ 4400 Dearness allowance and other allowances.

Job Location (Location of Appointment): Maharashtra

5] Eligibility for Exam:

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 Years and Maximum (upper age) 38 years

Upper age limit will be relaxed:

Backward Class: up to 5 Years (43) Years.

Proficient Player: up to age of 43 years.

Ex-Serviceman: Open Category 43 Years.

Ex-Serviceman + Backward: 48 years.

Note: For year calculation. The date will be given by MPSC on the basis of that you have to calculate your age.

Educational Qualification:

Degree from recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Knowledge of Marathi language required

Last Year aspirant is also eligible to take Preliminary examination but

If internship or workshop experience is required to complete the degree then that should be completed before the last date of online application of MPSC STI Main examination.

The degree holder must have completed the work of internship or workshops with the actual work experience required to complete the degree. This condition must be completed by the prescribed date of acceptance of the mains Exam information.

Physical Requirements: No Physical Standards are required. It’s not police (Inspector) type post.

Numbers of Attempts: Unlimited Attempts within age limit for MPSC STI Exams.

Others: No Other Qualification or eligibility required for MPSC STI Exam.

Prelim: 100 Marks (Combined Preliminary Exam of ASO-STI-PSI)

MAINS: 400 Marks (Combined Paper 1 of all three exams)

7] How to Apply:

So, how to apply for MPSC STI Exam is not different from other exams, the processes is same for all exams everything is online processes.

Notification: Notification means the advertisement for MPSC STI Exam, Without Notification you won’t be able to apply for MPSC STI Exam, in MPSC Advertisement there will be last date of Application and number of vacancies for MPSC STI Post. You have to apply for MPSC STI before last date of Online Application.

Create Account: If you haven’t created Account in MPSC Online Website then you can create it. Do not create your account if you are in 12th Standard or Second Year of Graduation etc

Upload photo and Signature: after filling all details you have to upload one photo and one signature in the form of image with required dimensions.

So after application you have to pay the exam fee for MPSC STI Exam, Otherwise you will not be considered as candidate for MPSC STI Exam.

Prelim Centers: Every District City of Maharashtra will be center of MPSC PSI Prelim Examination.

Mains Centers: Mumbai, Pune, Aurangabad,Nagpur.

Download hall ticket: You will get your exam hall ticket before 7 days of exam or 15 days before the exam.

9] What is pattern of MPSC STI exam?

In STI exam Pattern there is preliminary examination in STI Pre exam there is only one paper for three exams, then mains examination.

Note: The aim of the Preliminary Examination is to Shortlist the number of candidates for main examination. Therefore in all 16 times candidates of total number of posts will be allowed to the main examination as per the merit list of the preliminary examination. As preliminary examination is being screening test, its marks will not be taken into consideration for final selection and will not be communicated to the candidates.

There is Combined Syllabus for MPSC PSI, MPSC STI and MPSC ASO Exam but you have Different Syllabus in MPSC STI Mains exam

14] How to Prepare For MPSC STI Exam?

So, How to Prepare for MPSC STI Exam? This exam is same as Assistant Section Officer Overall Syllabus is same for almost 3 Papers of ASO-STI-PSI. Means, Prelim would be combined as well as Paper 1 of Mains Exam will be same for all three exams. Some part from Paper 2 is also same for all three exams except in STI mains.

Here I want to tell you that “If you are interested in MPSC STI Post only then you have to find those topics which are not same for all exams and you have to be prepared for that in advance” and other preparation is same for all three exams.   2. Sir I am studying in last year of graduation and I played hockey at 8 to 10 th class and i got state level 3 rd place certificate then can i fill the form as sportsman

    • First you need to verify that certificate from sport authority given in the mpsc profile then they will provide you certificate of eligibility. Probably you may get class 3 and class 4 eligible certificate.

  3. Sir I have not complete 12 exam but I am degree complete in yeshvantro chavan open university..Any problems. I can apply this exam please …..

    • if you have degree from YCMOU then you are eligible. as you have told that you have not completed the 12th. you will be eligible for this exam. but for some exams 12th is necessary for those you wont be eligible.

  4. Can I Apply for This Exam if Iam Graduate from Yashvantrao Chavan Open University (I know it is a recognized university) but My problem is i haven’t completed my 12th or HSC, rather i have given an Preparatory before the 1st year admission and now have completed my BA.
    Is it Necessary that you need 12th compulsory or all you need is just a Degree from any stream…….

    • Yes you can aaply for any mpsc exam with respect to educational qualification.
      There is only requirement of graduation but knowledge of marathi is necessary and this consideration is 10th pass with Marathi Language Paper otherwise you will have to pass that exam after selection.
      They don’t ask the details of 10th compulsory so you have to enter your graduation details only in MPSC Online Application System.
